CMHA NATIONAL CONFERENCE 2019

Now in its fourth year, the Mental Health for All (MH4A) Conference focuses on mental health in Canada. It aims to provide a space of convergence, where service providers, front-line workers, researchers, funders, policy makers and individuals with direct experience of mental health problems and illnesses come together to focus on one theme, this year’s being Connection Interrupted: Restoring Mental Health in a Fractured World. Participants actively contribute to the future of mental health responses in Canada by, as the organizers say, looking back and thinking ahead.

THE MEDTECH CONFERENCE

The MedTech Conference attracts more than 3,000 of the world’s top medtech executives. The HIMSS Ontario Chapter is hosting a full day, Ontario focused HIT conference intended to bring together the province’s health IT professionals and other stakeholders. BCHIMPS 2019 ANNUAL FALL EDUCATION SYMPOSIUM

SNOMED CT EXPO 2019

SNOMED International is a not-for-profit organization that believes the safe, accurate and effective exchange of health information is an essential part of improving healthcare around the world. To that end, it maintains SNOMED CT, a common global language for health terms that enables the comprehensive and accurate recording of patient data whilst being an analytical tool that can be used to provide better patient care and health management.

AMIA 2019 ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM

Each year AMIA (the American Medical Informatics Association) holds its Annual Symposium.  The organisation is a community of professionals who are committed to a world where informatics transforms people’s care. Thus, AMIA’s yearly event brings together informatics professionals from diverse backgrounds who are striving towards this goal.  Whether they be a leading expert in the field or a student learning about the field, the event provides an opportunity to learn, network, and engage with new people, technologies and ideas.

MEDICA 2019 – WORLD FORUM FOR MEDICINE

The MEDICA World Forum for Medicine is an International Trade Fair combined with Forums and Conferences. Well over 100,000 delegates from over 130 different countries routinely attend this expansive, inclusive conference that explores medicine and the industry connected to it.

HIMSS AUSTRALIA DIGITAL HEALTH SUMMIT 2019

RSNA 2019

The 105th Scientific Assembly & Annual Meeting of the Radiology Society of North America will take place as usual at McCormick Place in Chicago. This gathering is the world’s premier radiology forum and draws approximately 55,000 attendees annually. It offers participants hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology, including artificial intelligence (AI), 3D printing and virtual reality while diving into the latest research, and offering over 400 educational courses.

In addition, this year the RSNA is curating the Egypt Presents and India Presents programs intended to highlight the work being done in these countries. Attendees can attend sessions led by their leaders in radiology, learn about the Egyptian Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine (ESRNM) and the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA), and explore innovations from Egyptian and Indian companies in the Technical Exhibit Halls.

HIMSS HEALTH 2.0 JAPAN 2019

MIE 2020

The European Federation of Medical Informatics (EFMI) is holding its 30th Medical Informatics Europe conference (MIE) at the Geneva International Conference Center (CICG). Organized in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the State of Geneva (Geneva), the University of Geneva (UNIGE) and the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG), the conference returns to Geneva after 15 years. Since its first time in that city, it has seen a huge change in the role of technology in healthcare. Although the conversation will have changed, the aim of MIE2020 is no different from the aim of MIE 2005 – to bring experts from all over the world to discuss these past changes and possible future ones.

The MIE conference attracts senior researchers and established experts, but it is also a place where young scientists come to present their works, meet peers, network, and seek job and career opportunities.
